Americans Victoria MacKenzie and Richard Childs, both ceramists, known for their eccentric, sometimes crazy, always creative style are the founders of this love brand. The company was inspired by the loving admiration for their daughter Heather, an outgoing ballet student who was raised to express herself without walls. Consequently, they decided to incorporate in their artworks the best qualities they saw in their daughter. Funny, interesting, yet comforting potteries were born.
Today, MacKenzie-Childs are still designed at a picturesque farm in Aurora, a lake village in the New York State.
